When my kids were little we always did the Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt. The eggs were filled with numbers and when they turned in their numbers they received prizes and candy. Once we had grandchildren we bought plastic eggs and hid them in the yard, either ours or my daughters. The older ones never have any trouble finding them the younger ones sometimes needed help. It was such a joy seeing how excited they were searching for those hidden eggs, then opening them to reveal what was inside. This year they went to the egg hunt at their Church and then came home to find over three hundred eggs hidden in their yard. I am sure they had a blast.
Life is better on the Lake, cooking up simple gourmet meals, and crafting in my spare time!
